Despite a long and impressive heritage, the media’s gaze is often drawn to the self-titled ‘Space Race’ between names like Space X, Amazon’s Blue Origin and Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic – so we wanted to help Airbus elevate the conversation and look towards the future – and all the exciting projects currently being worked on. So, we launched a 60-second ‘teaser’ video, which introduces the ‘Next Space’ messaging and teases the content to come.
Clickbait style posts “from the future” highlighted some of the amazing work Airbus Space is doing for humans here on Earth
While Airbus Space had some incredible scientists and engineers working on real meaningful project, they were located across Europe, and with a Pandemic, filming was almost impossible. So we created content from web calls with Airbus personnel, by recording their voices and using existing imagery
We created SciFi movie style posters to be shared on social and used with-in Airbus to tease the project.

Aircraft Days
When a day falls serendipitously on the same numerical date as your aircraft’s namesake, you have to create some cool content to let people know what features it has to offer right?
So we created animations for the A220, A320 & A330 to be posted out on corresponding dates (2/20, 3/20 & 3/30).
Each animation was specifically designed to be made into smaller cut down versions that could be used in social and email, while the longer combined animations would be used across Airbus internally.
This series was created to primarily target a general audience of fans on Airbus social channels, but the animation also had to articulate all the many features of very complex aircraft to a B2B audience.
